FACTS‼️ • Name: #Nandi means “sweet,” which will be a #plot driver as her “sweetness” is tested. • Hobby: #Peacemaking. Years ago, she ended a war between two countries all by showing #compassion. In the present-day, Nandi will use her #wit and compassion to help counter the war that is brewing. • Strength: Compassion. Unlike almost everyone around her, Nandi has not been corrupted by the castle. • Weakness: Trusting heart. When in a castle filled with corruption, trust is a risky endeavor. Nandi’s trust will be corrupted, but her mother won’t be there to help Nandi through the tragedy. Stay tuned to meet “Keda.” . . . #makearteveryday #artinspo #beboldbecreativebeyou  #carveouttimeforart #insanelyinspiredinstagram #passioncolorjoy #colorcrushcreative #artscrowds #artistsharing #happyartistmovement #lifeofanartist #smallworks #expressiveart #dstexture #artnewss #instaartexplorer #createeveryday

When you admire someone so deeply, as an artist and a mother. And then you meet them on this little app and they are kind and gentle and generous. Kayla @slow.season is all of these things and more. She hung one of my rainbow babes in a gorgeous frame from @kanasakinjo and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Thank you Kayla, I’m so grateful for your friendship and support! ⋒

Ive been keeping this piece slightly under wraps. It was done from a photo I took of my family farm house, just for my personal collection. I love this place for so many reasons and it’s undergone some big changes recently. I’ve never been huge on change, especially when it’s out of my control. But the lesson I’m learning is that the change doesn’t have to effect our beautiful memories we have. What place do you love most of all? Your childhood home or maybe a grandparents house? Let me know in the comments! • • • • • #carveouttimeforart #doitfortheprocess #dsart #studioscenes #makersmovement #dscolor #sodomino #artistsofinstagram #calledtobecreative #creativityfound #cylcollective #createeveryday #handsandhustle #abmlifeiscolorful #dslooking #wearethemakers #creativelife #ihavethisthingwithcolor #the100dayproject #makersgonnamake #creativeprocess #creativelifehappylife #thenativecreative #craftsposure #weareease #abmcrafty #mybeautifulmess #colorcolourlovers #abstractart #abstractpainting

I started this a few days ago and gave up on it until this morning, and now it’s one of my favorite paintings and I’m inspired to do another similar one! 🌼 • Moral of the story- don’t give up, whether it’s in art or any other aspect in life, something good will come out of it!

This was my first ever acrylic paint pour. I thought it turned out great! This was all I needed to realize that it was such an amazing form of art. Instantly obsessed. One of the questions I am most often asked about is my “lootanical” style. I’ve spoken about this before, but wanted to again, for those new to this feed. In a nutshell, what I’ve created is a style that works for me. More than making beautiful art, I want a beautiful PROCESS. Does that ring true for you, too? I spoke in stories this morning about how I used to paint using the lunge and pray maneuver. Meaning I didn’t really understand what I was doing and how I was doing it, and so I would just GO FOR IT with one eye closed and jaw clenched. As you can imagine, that process was not at all beautiful for me. It made for anxious, frustrating painting because a lot of the time it didn’t work out, and if it did, I had zero clues how to repeat it because I was just stabbing at the paper hoping something lovely popped out of the end of my brush. I love the rich vibrant look realistic flowers. I also love the transient, ethereal feel of loose florals. However these practices by themselves didn’t completely speak to me. Realistic felt too tight, restraining. Loose felt like there was no structure, nothing tethering me to the page; so one day I thought, “Hm. I wonder how well these styles would blend together.” And then something just CLICKED. Well, actually it was days and days and months of sifting through what I could find on YouTube before any sort of clicking happened. The benefit of signing up for a course where everything is included in one single location is that it will save you not hours, not days, but MONTHS of searching out this information on your own. An invaluable asset. If how I’ve described my style speaks to you as an artist, I would LOVE to walk you through my process step by step. We cover EVERYTHING, and these lessons are yours for LIFE. If you don’t have the time right now but truly want this knowledge, no worries. Start next month, next year, five years from now. These classes are yours for LIFE. . Curious, in a few words, how would you describe your style? . . . . #rosaliegwenpaperie #doitfortheprocess #carveouttimeforart #floralstudio #studioscenes #makersmovement #cylcollective #artclass #watercolortattoo
